The project proposes a box section that, with its rectangular shape, responds well to the stress to which a bridge is typically subject. The inner plan of the box-shaped becomes the decking for crossing and the vertical elements work as protection. This solution provides a sense of protection necessary to avoid the discomfort of being suspended in space typical of bridges: so the user does not try to finish the experience in a short time but benefits from the space, that acquired the characteristics of an architectural space.
However, the box can not be continuous and compact because it would introduce negative perceptions and structural issues for wind and snow loads . A sequence of frames responds much better to the real needs: a dense series of laminated timber spread over the entire length of the bridge, inducing new perceptions according to the position of the observer.

From afar, the bridge is a single element, compact, simple, minimal signs in the landscape.
On the contrary closely, or better going through it, the sequence of frames is permeable to light and view, it does not hide the structure and generates many glimpses of landscape.
