The competition site is situated in the south - east of Pogradec Municipality, located only 5 km away from Pogradec city center and 3 km from Macedonian Border, bordered in north by Ohrid Lake. It consist of Drilon and Tushemisht villages, which are widely know as favorite touristic destinations.
Despite the natural wealthy opportunities the zone can offer, the main challenge for the zone is the lack of touristic models and other commercialization services. The intention is to provoke investment that promote and activate resources of lands/waters that have been untapped.
The goal is to increase touristic awareness, impact and influence of tourist flows already visiting nearby areas to visit this area also and promote a longer stay in the zone through multiple forms of tourism including water tourism which, in current context, is almost non existing.
